Greeting Cards
One of my pet peaves these days, maybe for more than twenty years, has been that hardly anyone hand writes anything. My handwriting isn’t very good and I write almost everything on my computer or tablet. Still, when it comes to sending someone a personal note or letter, in particular for special occasions, I hand write it. I don’t buy or send birthday cards with a pre-printed message inside. Using cards that are blank inside, I write my own note wishing them well on their birthday or whatever, expressing my appreciation for them.
There are times when I make my own card, cutting and folding – maybe binding when there’s more than one leaf – and drawing am image on the front. I hand-deliver it or mail it, but always with an attractive and appropriate postage stamp – the right stamps makes a difference even when delivered personally.
Needless to say, I appreciate the booklet stamps on this album page, with stamps for common events: Best Wishes, Congratulations, Get Well, as well as Love You Dad and Love You Mother – it should have been Mom, though. The most encouraging for return letters, the one that reads, Keep In Touch.
Note
Another haphazard looking album page. It’s not Leuchtturn’s fault. They do what they can with the stamps they’re given. But I like the greeting cards stamps too much to fuss much.
Contains 13 spots: own 13 – 13 unused, 0 used.
Page is finished.

To search by catalog number, go to the search box and enter it in the catalog number box. However, it’s a bit broken; I need to fix it.
