U.N. Geneva, Page (BL-2)

The U.N. Postal Administration made an agreement with the Swiss government in 1969 to establish a U.N. post office at the U.N. headquarters in Geneva, an agreement that they would accept mail from the U.N. using their own stamps. As part of that, those stamps were issued with the then currency of Switzerland, francs.

This album contains U.N. stamps issued in Geneva. So far I have only Leuchtturm pages from 1979 to 1999. I’ll buy and add more pages, but not any time soon. I just have too many other stamp collecting tasks to do. I’d like to write the stories and notes for all of the pages I’ve already posted. That’s a slow process.

Note

For my U.N. collection, I previously had my stamps in a stock book. I’ve been migrating to Leuchtturm album pages. Until recently, I had all of the U.N. pages for all three post offices from their starts uuntil the end of 1999, with all of the album pages filled and described here. Now I have more pages for the Geneva stamps: I added the pages from 2000 to 2009. I have almost all of these stamps, but I still have to write stories and notes for each page. That’s the reason for the table below.
