25th Anniversary
This souvenir sheet was issued to celebrate the twenty-fifth anniversary of the United Nations. Just a few more countries became members of the United Nations since the last souvenir sheet was issued in October 1965 for the twentieth anniversary.
Four countries from Africa joined during these five years: Botswana, Equatorial Guinea, Lesotho, and Eswatini (Swaziland). One from South Amerca, Guyana joined. Three island nations, Barbados, Fiji, Mauritius – from the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Indian Ocean – became new member states.
Note
This souvenir sheet has three stamps, instead of the usual two. Sheet versions can be found on the middle row of the previous page. The theme for this one is Peace and Progress. Again, that’s always a goal of the U.N., so I’m not sure what it has to do with this five-year period.
Contains 1 spots: own 1 – 1 unused, 0 used.

To search by catalog number, go to the search box and enter it in the catalog number box. However, it’s a bit broken; I need to fix it.
