Unemployment
The Ufficio Nazionale Collocamento Disoccupati, which translates to National Office for the Placement of the Unemployed, was another program of the state. This one was meant to help unployed people to find work. The top two rows of stamps are overprinted with the name of this program.
The stamps on the third and fourth rows are overprinted, Associazione Nazionale Mutilati Invalidi Guerra – National Association of War Invalids and Mutilated. This one was founded to help veterans from World War I who were insured in battle, and possibly mutilated by their injuries.
The Vigilanza Obbligo Scolastico, meaning Compulsory School Supervision was overprinted on the stamp on the last row. They issued only the one stamp for this program.
Note
One of the nice things about these semi-state entities pages is that it takes only one purchase to put a dent in one of them, and two or three to finish the page since they’re almost always sold in sets and there are only three sets per page. So they go from empty to done in a short time, once I find them for sale somewhere. There are five pages of these stamps that I thought I might never own and now I have half of them.
Contains 16 spots: own 8 – 8 unused, 0 used.
